Caliber HT Grease
HIGH TEMPERATURE MOLY GREASE
DESCRIPTION:
Caliber HT Grease is a non-melt, non-drip type high temperature grease containing molybdenum disulfide micronised solid lubricants and a blend of additives to aid performance of bearing lubrication at high temperatures. Increase resistance to oxidation and rust and also impart load carrying properties.
APPLICATIONS
Caliber HT Grease is designed for lubrication of anti-friction and journal bearings operating under severe conditions.
- Bearings in soot blowers.
- Hot running bearings in axle boxes and kiln cars.
- Hot strip mills on cold conveyors.
- Paper Mills.
- Pre heater fans.
- Electrical motor bearings.
- Oven-fans.
- Textile Stentors.
- Over head conveyors.
- Oven Conveyors.
- Pharmaceutical units.
- Cosmetic plants.
- Latex manufacturing plants.
- Food processing machinery.
- Bakeries.
BENEFITS
Because of its greater adhesion on metal surface under any operating conditions it maintains a thin adhesive lubricating film and thereby reduce wear & friction. This grease has no definite melting point (above 220oC) & because of its infusible nature can be used for high temperature bearing lubrication successfully between the operating temperature ranges of -20oC to 220oC. The MoS2 film has sustenance to loadings higher and coefficient of friction around three to four times lower then other grease. It decreasing wear life & also increasing relubrication period.
HOW TO APPLY
By normal greasing methods, Caliber HT Grease can be applied by hand or dispensed through grease guns or automatic dispensing equipments as centralized lubrication systems. Pack bearing as per manufacturer's instructions. Clean surface dry from old grease or residue throughly before use of this grease. Do not mix with conventional greases.
