Caliber Molyspray
DRY FILM LUBRICANT
DESCRIPTION:
Caliber Molyspray consist of a high percentage of micro-fine MoS2 suspended in a quick drying vehicle. Based on a combination of solid film lubricant. Molybdenum disulfide is a solid film lubricant with a co-efficient of friction. Under sliding pressure, it bonds to metal surfaces to form a film that reduces high points and friction between two sliding or mating areas.
APPLICATIONS
Caliber Molyspray can be used wherever a dry film lubricant free from oil and grease is desired : Useful as a dry film lubricant for working in dirty and dusty environments as in:
- Textile stenter machines.
- Cement plants.
- Mining and construction sites.
- Earth moving equipments.
- Oil and gas refining.
- Moving parts.
- Toggle joints.
- Linkages.
- Pivot-pins.
- Adjustment bolts.
- Small gears.
- Press-fits.
- Bushings.
- Shafts.
- Piston rods.
- Rings.
- Open chains & rollers.
- Nuts and bolts.
- Studs and flanges.
- Boilers.
- Flanges.
- Valve stems.
- Manifolds.
- Compressors.
- Cylinder heads.
- Reactors.
- Steam turbines.
- Boilers.
- Furnaces.
- Auto Claves.
- Jet engines.
- Cylinder heads.
- Cat-crackers.
- Heat exchanger.
- Internal combustion engines.
- Guides.
- Lathe beds.
- Gaskets.
- Packings.
- Ways.
- Jigs and fixtures.
- Splines.
BENEFITS
Air drying film providing clean and dry lubrication to equipment operating under dirt and dust, abrasive or severe conditions. Provides long term, oil and grease free lubrication and does not attract dirt and dust.
- Withstands high loads and heavy pressure upto +200,000 psi & does not get squeezed out, dislodge or blow away.
- Eliminates metal to metal contact between sliding surfaces and prolongs equipments wear life.
- Aerosol formulation ensures lubrication of hard to reach areas and provides maximum lubrication with minimum wastage.
- Withstands extreme temperatures from -180oC to 450oC in air and upto +1100oC in absence of air as in tight fit assemblies.
- Forms an anti-seize film between threaded surfaces and enables problem free dismantling.
HOW TO APPLY
Shake well before use till bearing sound form inside is audible for atleast 2 minutes. Clean and degrease surface completely before application. Spray uniformly onto surface. Allow solvent to evaporate before assembly.
