Caliber 2000
HIGH TEMPERATURE STENTER CHAIN OIL
DESCRIPTION:
Caliber 2000 is a Synthetic Lubricant Designed specially for chains operating at high temperature, Oxidation, Wear and friction & where a carbon residues are not tolerable. Formulated from extremely heat stable base stocks, it also contains a special friction reducing additive which forms a film between high points and reduces friction and wear. At elevated temperatures, Caliber 2000 provides optimum lubrication and does not form any carbon or varnish like residues normally produced by petroleum based products.
APPLICATIONS
The advantage of this product make it an ideal high temperature lubricant for providing lubrication under operating conditions of high temperatures and heavy loads, as in chains of:
- Textile stentering machines.
- Glass works and foundaries.
- Paint and varnish curing ovens.
- Plywood, paper manufacturing units.
- Ceramic and latex plants.
- Chains operating under water or steam attack.
BENEFITS
- Reduce wear and prolongs life of chain.
- Extremely low evaporation rate at higher temperatures ensures lesser lubricant consumption, reduces maintenance costs.
- Does not leave any carbonaceous residues.
- Superior lubrication qualities at elevated temperatures reduces power required by chain drive and substantially contribute to power savings.
- Temperature service rating from -15oC to + 250oC.
- Good penetration properties & Water resistance.
HOW TO APPLY
Clean and degrease chain completely of old grease or varnish residues. Dip the chain in the lubricant initially for around 30 minutes to allow complete penetration to all points. Relubricate as necessary. Do not mix with other lubricants or solvants.
